As Summer Turns to Fall; Rompers turn to Jumpsuits

It is legit August. School is in session, buses are on the road again and the weather is starting to cool. How did all of this happen so quickly?! As happy as I am to welcome fall –and fall fashion back to the scene, I realize sometimes it can be difficult to plan an outfit during transitional weather. So let’s talk about one of my go to outfit choices for the fall: Jumpsuits!

Rocking this dope Ashley Stewart Jumpsuit! Bring it on, Fall!

Jumpsuits are by far one of the best things a girl could choose to wear; and now that more companies have been making jumpsuits with a long enough pant leg for heels and cut to flatter body types with belly, it’s almost a guaranteed great outfit, especially for transitioning into fall.

A few weeks ago, I did a post featuring a SheIn jumpsuit (linked below) I ordered that could easily be converted into a fall outfit with the right accessories. However, for the first official  fall post of the season, I wanted to find a piece that is a little bit heavier and has more fall colors. So, I selected this  gem of a jumpsuit from Ashley Stewart.

A closer look at the colors and details of this fab fall look

I absolutely love this jumpsuit! The fall colors, the comfy material, and the off the shoulder detail help make it that perfect outfit for transitioning seasons. Because I wanted this look to be wearable for a cooler summer/ warmer fall, I decided to pair it with a pair of black peep toe kitten heels, also from Ashley Stewart.

Finally, I choose to accessorize with with a medium sized, black patent leather wrist-let from Aldo and my wooden statement earrings I got from the National Museum of African American History and Culture when I went with my family back in 2016. I believe the wooden earrings compliment the bold African inspired print and just adds a level of fierceness to the ensemble.

With this bold and fearless outfit, I’m ready for fall!
