Founded by Pittsburgh based blogger, Ari Alex, The Queenpin Collective is a networking community of Black women and WOC business owners, entrepreneurs, creatives, professionals, mommies, wives, and powerhouses, who aren’t afraid to shake things up. TQC exists as a safe space to facilitate the advancement and empowerment of Black women and women of color, and was founded as a retort to the lack of representation and equality that Black women and WOC experience often and repeatedly both in the media, and in everyday life. While we are based in Pittsburgh, PA, we work to empower black and brown women from all over the country through our interactive social media and online communities. Read more about us here.

Black Women in Art, an Annual Event Series
Black Women in Art is a collaborative event series by The Queenpin PGH and The Thirsty Mind Collective, focused on the importance of empowering feminine voices of color in the art community.
We are always looking to grow and expand in order to better support the community and adequately portray Black women and WOC. We also hope to empower non-Black, and non-minority allies with the hope of more understanding and empathy related to racial injustices. Our goal is to occupy a space promoting not only equality, but equity and justice as well. If you are interested in working with or getting involved with TQC, please use the form below.
